The DRT Motorsports HD Tie Rod Kit for the 2018+ Polaris RZR XP Turbo S / S4 (72" platform, M16 steering rack) strengthens and adds reliability to the steering on this potent powerplant. Machined from aerospace-grade 6061-T6 billet bar stock, the rods are much stronger than OEM and lighter in weight without sacrificing strength. Even at full droop or compression, the set clears all suspension and steering components at any point in the steering range so you can ride with confidence.

  • Stronger than OEM. Aerospace-grade 6061-T6 billet aluminum with machined wrench notch areas for adjustability.
  • Sealed rod ends. 3-piece PTFE-lined Left/Right hand 5/8" chromoly rod ends and a proprietary inner ball joint seal the OEM bellow against water, dirt, and sand.
  • Full-travel clearance. Clears all suspension and steering components through the entire range of motion.
  • Hardware that holds. 303 stainless steel misalignment spacers and class 10.9 hardware deliver the required clamping force.

Construction & Installation

The kit works in conjunction with the OEM M16 steering rack and replaces the OEM rod ends. The tie rods are Left/Right adjustable. Verify the jam nuts are tight and installed with thread locker; a paint check to visually confirm movement is recommended, and jam nuts should be inspected before each ride to make sure everything is tight and secure.

The installation video shows the kit going onto a Polaris Pro XP, but the process is the same for the Turbo S. If you have any questions during the install, call DRT Customer Service.
